Last Blast for the Boogiemen

Bad news Dunedin, the fabulous Boogiemen have played their last stand.  The enormously talented Boog Roberts is leaving town for personal reasons (no he's not going to jail this time).

I went to see them one last time at the Waterloo Tavern, with my good friend and Blues Brother Dr Mike.  They were at their raucous best.  I'm not sure what Mad Dog Dooley, Ropes, Steve-O and Jack will do without the Boogster, but I know I'll miss him greatly.

In other news, Bluestone has a private party to play this weekend, and will be appearing at the Dunedin Muso's Club on April 8th.  Light blue touch paper and stand back, we're going off like a firecracker!
